Joan Couden is the National Program Director for the Bleeding Disorder Program at Option Care, based in Deerfield, IL. During her 15 years with Option Care (previously Walgreens Infusion Services), she has fulfilled multiple leadership positions in clinical, operational, and sales management. Ms. Couden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She works closely with HTCs, managed care executives, and manufacturers in her current position, developing and implementing strategies to control costs and add value through collaboration in clinical management, best practices development, and innovative reporting.
