Target Audience

STATEMENT OF NEED/PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Hemophilia is an expensive chronic condition with total annual costs that can average $250,000 or more for severe patients. Optimal outcomes requires a collaborative and coordinated patient experience throughout various life stages. This case scenario, joint sponsored by the National Hemophilia Foundation, will emphasize the need for well-coordinated treatment management, the importance of understanding effective ways of using available treatments, and the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders as a patient journeys through his life with severe hemophilia.
