Clinical Presentation and Initial Interventions

• Patient presented for first visit at dental provider
• Dental findings
  

  –	Right lower quadrant:  requires 2 fillings and a crown
  –	Left lower quadrant:  requires single tooth extraction

• HTC is contacted for treatment recommendations
  

  –	Dental procedure will need to be divided into 2 separate procedures as the provider can only do 1 quadrant at a time
  –	The right lower quadrant will require a factor infusion prior to the procedure related to the block injection used to numb the area
  –	The left lower quadrant will require a factor infusion prior to the procedure as well related to the block injection and extraction
  –	The left lower quadrant will also require 7 days of oral antifirbinolytic therapy to prevent rebleeding of the extraction site.
