63-year-old male with severe hemophilia A

• Long-standing inhibitor
• Previous right knee synovectomy 5 years prior
• Bleeds about 2 to 3 times per month in his knees, especially after regular or continuous activity; occasional bleeds in other joints, including elbows, often after overuse
• Has pain and is steadily losing function in both knees, becoming more sedentary as a result; has better function in his elbows
