Raulo S. Frear, PharmD is the General Manager for RegenceRx. His responsibilities and oversight include negotiating with the pharmaceutical industry to obtain formulary drug discounts; rebate processing and reconciliation; data analytics and reporting and client support activities for our formulary and rebate-only clients.
Prior to joining Regence, Raulo was Vice President, Healthcare Services, Visante, Inc., a pharmacist-based consulting agency. Raulo directed the development of the agency’s website, provided pre-product launch consulting services to the pharmaceutical industry, and produced white papers on drug policy topics of importance to clients. Previously, Raulo was Vice President, Clinical Evaluation & Policy at Express Scripts, Inc. His responsibilities included the drug evaluation process, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee activities, utilization management program criteria, and drug pipeline/patent expiration monitoring.
Dr. Frear earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco and received his Residency Certificate from the University of Michigan Hospitals. In 2010, Raulo was elected to the Board of Directors of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. He also served on the Academy’s Professional Practice Committee and was the Committee Chair 2008-2009. |
